Career Opportunities Senior Underwriter: Position available - Los Angeles and New York Analyze unconventional risks and create high-level presentations based upon rigorous financial analysis for both client and insurance carrier decision makers. Help develop unique solutions that mitigate unconventional risks – a skill that distinguishes RCP from competing brokers/consultants. Role Description: Determine the best analytic means of deconstructing novel risks, structure actuarial data, and rigorously compile analysis using latest statistical techniques from Monte Carlo to series analysis and linear algebra. Interact with senior RCP partners to turn numbers into compelling verbal and schematic arguments. Generate ideas for new business opportunities: unlock financial value in existing transactions; identify novel synergies; create unique gap solutions; and be able to identify opportunities that are only found in the cross-section of life insurance, property-casualty insurance, banking, and investment banking Qualifications and Experience: Bachelors required, Masters or PhD a plus. C.P.A., F.C.A.S., F.S.A., A.C.A.S.,A.S.A.,C.F.A., law degree, or similar designation a plus. Five years experience in an insurance company is a must.
