Nemo Perera – Managing General Partner

Mr. Perera has more than twenty years of experience in the insurance industry. Among other things, he previously served as VP of AIG and co-founded Risk Capital Partners, LLC. He is a life settlement expert who is a frequent guest lecturer and has authored several articles related to life settlements. Mr. Perera holds a BS from UCLA and an MBA from USC.


John Ramirez – Counsel

Mr. Ramírez has been providing business, legal, and strategic advice for almost twenty years. Previously, he served as General Counsel, CLO, CCO, and Secretary of several public and private companies. He has assisted and advised in over $1 billion in transactions. Mr. Ramírez holds a BA from the University of Richmond and a JD from Fordham University School of Law.


Aaron Gadouas

Mr. Gadouas has twenty-five years of experience in corporate finance, fixed income investment banking, and new product development in the capital markets. He has completed transactions in a variety of industries including specialty finance, alternative energy, renewables, infrastructure and real estate.   He was formerly a Senior Vice President in the Chicago office of ABN AMRO Global Capital Markets and was responsible for the origination and execution of structured products and asset securitizations. Prior to that, he was an Associate at Drexel Burnham Lambert in New York and Chicago. He has been recognized for his track record of innovative financings, including the first securitization of church loans in the United States, development of a rating methodology for life settlements, implementation of a trust to finance infrastructure and equipment, and the creation of several tax advantaged financial products. Mr. Gadouas holds a B.A. in Economics from Cornell University and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. He has served on boards and held leadership positions for several Chicago-based not-for-profit organizations.


Matthew Jodziewicz – General Counsel

Matthew Jodziewicz has over forty years of legal experience in complicated legal matters having held the position of Government Counsel in Washington D.C. and later as private Corporate and In-House Counsel for entities ranging from publicly traded Cellular and WiFi concerns to privately held Insurance and Banking entities.  He has detailed knowledge and experience of the legal and intellectual property challenges facing high tech and internet firms from initial start-up, public offering, merger, and acquisition. Mr. Jodziewicz holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Notre Dame, a Juris Doctor from Rutgers University, and a Master of Laws from The National Law School, George Washington University.  He is admitted to the state bars of California, The District of Columbia, and New Jersey, as well as to the Federal Patent Bar.


Agustin Llamas – Analyst

Agustin Llamas is an experienced technology and energy analyst with specific expertise in integrating green technology with low carbon business models and focusing on proper management of waste, energy, and mobility. Agustin earned a Bachelor of Engineering - Mechanical & Environmental Engineering at ITESM, Mexico City.


Mitch Jodziewicz – Analyst

Mitch Jodziewicz is a co-founder of Warranty2Go.com, an online mobile insurance company. His skill set focuses around the field of actuarial science and data driven decision making. Mitch Jodziewicz holds a double Major BS in Accounting and Finance from Regis University, and holds certificates in data science and Predictive Analytics from Johns Hopkins University and University of California Irvine.


Tom Skippon – Chief Underwriting Officer

Thomas Skippon created, structured and optimized various Proprietary Financial Structures and Models including Life Settlement Asset-Backed Bonds utilizing various swap and insurance strategies with placement to Global Institutional Investors / HNWI. Structures and Strategies designed to facilitate financing for Private Projects. Coordinated and completed public listings / reverse mergers on various exchange / trading venues / Director Public Companies.
